Job summary

LHH is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager in Fort Worth, TX to build and lead the cost accounting function for a growing manufacturing operation. This role offers the opportunity to establish processes, controls, and analytics from the ground up while partnering closely with operations, supply chain, and executive leadership.

You will own standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and manufacturing cost reporting, and lead month-end close activities related to inventory and COGS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience; senior ready option.
• Expertise in standard costing, inventory accounting, variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with operations translating data into decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead cost accounting, inventory accounting, and reporting processes.
• Own standard costing, inventory valuation, variance analysis, and manufacturing cost reporting.
• Lead month-end close activities related to inventory, COGS, and manufacturing operations.
• Build and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and leadership reporting.
