Job summary

The company is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager in Phoenix, AZ to scale accounting operations during an expansion and acquisition phase. You will lead cost accounting, inventory, fixed assets, and procure-to-pay while driving process improvements and strong internal controls.

Candidates should have a CPA or CPA-eligible background, 5+ years of related experience, and a solid understanding of U.S. GAAP in an ERP-enabled environment. This role offers a remote option for AZ residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in cost and manufacturing.
• Public company experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

Key Requirements:

• Manufacturing or other inventory-intensive industry experience is required.
• Public company experience is highly preferred, along with proven leadership experience managing accounting, accounts payable, procurement, or shared services teams.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, audit support, and ERP systems.
• Remote opportunity for candidates residing in Arizona, offering a competitive salary of $115,000 - $125,000, plus bonus and equity participation.
