Job summary

Harmonic Finance Inc is seeking a hands-on Cost Accounting Lead to build and scale a cost accounting function in a fast-growing hardware scaleup in Austin, TX. You will own standard costing, inventory controls, and landed cost per kWh, partnering with operations, engineering and supply chain from day one.

Reporting to finance leadership, you will design policies in line with US GAAP, lead ERP-driven processes (NetSuite) and mentor a small team as the business expands.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience.
• Expert knowledge of standard costing, BOMs, routings and inventory accounting.
• Strong variance and root cause analysis experience; experience partnering across functions.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain standard cost methodologies for materials, labor and overhead.
• Lead inventory accounting system design and controls with operations and engineering.
• Support month-end close and provide accurate inventory-related reconciliations.
• Act as internal educator on inventory and costing rules across the business.
