Job summary

Regal Rexnord is seeking a Cost Accountant to develop standard costs, analyze manufacturing costs, and provide actionable insights for efficiency and profitability. You will report to the Plant Controller and partner with plant operations and division finance to support monthly close and reporting.

The role requires strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency, and experience with SAP/ERP systems. This is an onsite role with collaboration across departments in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2+ years in accounting or finance; manufacturing a plus.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and analytical skills.
• Proficient Excel with pivot tables and formulas.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard costs for annual revaluation and daily setup of new materials.
• Align direct material pricing, freight, labor hours, and setup times with planning and production teams.
• Compile labor and manufacturing spend reports and run monthly target reviews.
• Analyze production cost variances and support improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Prepare and post accounting journal entries for monthly close.
• Support inventory cycle counts and balance sheet reconciliation.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and process improvements for data reliability.
