Qualifications

• B.A. in Accounting, Business, or related field.
• 2+ years of accounting, cost accounting, or related experience.
• Knowledge of cost accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience with inventory, costing, or manufacturing-related accounting preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and analyze costing data to support business operations.
• Assist with inventory accounting and valuation activities.
• Monitor and analyze variances, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Prepare and distribute financial and operational reports.
• Research discrepancies and perform root cause analysis.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes and maintain accurate financial data.
• Assist with inventory reviews, cycle counts, and related reporting.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and other financial planning activities.
• Participate in special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
