Ferrotec in Bedford, NH is seeking a Cost Accountant to support inventory and cost data integrity in a dynamic manufacturing environment. You will help maintain standard costs, analyze material and labor costs, and assist with JSOX controls.

The role requires 2–3 years in cost accounting within a standard cost-manufacturing setting, with strong Excel skills and familiarity with Oracle. Competitive benefits and a supportive team await.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2-3 years cost accounting experience in a standard cost-manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Oracle is helpful.
• Proficient in Windows-based PC software packages e.g. Excel and Word.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the accuracy and integrity of all inventory and production data.
• Assist in the maintenance of standard material costs. Update standards monthly with Procurement.
• Assist in reviewing and monitoring inventory movement for management review.
• Assist in annual review of labor and overhead rates to ensure proper pricing of products.
• Assist in over/under absorption to determine adjustments to inventory balances.
• Assist in reviewing and executing JSOX internal controls.
• Assist in monthly review of WIP inventory and production job closures and variance analysis.
• Assist in periodic cycle counts and evaluate cycle count program adequacy.
• Assist in preparing month-end cost accounting journal entries and reconciliations.
• Assist in inventory reconciliations.
• Assist in preparing monthly gross margin reports and investigating margins.
• Assist in preparing all inventory-related reports.
• Assist Senior Accountants in journal entries, reconciliations and other tasks.
