Job summary

Diversified Services Network, Inc. is seeking a Cost Accountant to audit and analyze ongoing projects with county or state agencies.

You will manage multiple projects, participate in meetings, and support audits of state programs while collaborating with business consultants and IT teams. The role requires strong note-taking, solid communication, and a basic to intermediate understanding of accounting principles.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in accounting or auditing.
• Experience with large-scale audits and accounting systems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and grow into the role.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects.
• Participate in State agencies meetings and internal staff meetings.
• Examine and participate audits on current State programs.
• Run quarterly claim reports for state agencies.
• Develop a strong understanding of State agencies' practice and system.
• Work with business consultants and IT development team.
• Create meeting notes.
• Create project schedules and maintain project schedule.
