Job summary

Palm Harbor Homes is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage cost information, BOM maintenance, and price-change recommendations. The role emphasizes fixed and variable costs, accuracy in cost reporting, and BOM margin analysis.

The candidate will forecast costs monthly, quarterly, and annually, support month-end activities, and identify cost-saving opportunities to optimize profitability. Strong Excel skills and integrity are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, Accountant or similar role.
• Thorough knowledge of construction.
• In-depth understanding of manufactured homes business.
• Computer literacy, MS Excel in particular (familiarity with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables).
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills.
• Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
