Job summary

Aveda Arts & Sciences Institute - Nashville, TN is hiring a Full Time Cosmetology Educator. You will inspire students, coach toward service and retail goals, and use Aveda teaching methods in a dynamic training environment.

Applicants should bring 2–5+ years behind the chair, strong presentation and communication skills, and a passion for teaching. Flexible to work evenings and weekends; Aveda product knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5+ years behind the chair in cosmetology.
• Experience training and coaching students.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Aveda product knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing recognition, support, and motivation to students.
• Coach students to meet service and retail goals using Aveda teaching methods.
• Address student challenges and progress, escalating when needed.
• Participate in instructor meetings and contribute to curriculum.
• Maintain and share Aveda product knowledge with students.
• Foster a positive learning environment and professional growth.
• Support scheduling and delivery of evening/weekend classes.
