Qualifications

Minimum Diploma from an accredited postsecondary college.
Must hold a current Georgia Master Cosmetologist License.
Knowledge of instructional techniques and technology required.
Strong written and oral communication skills and teamwork ability.
Flexible schedule; day, evening and Saturday classes possible.
At least 3+ years in-salon work and teaching experience.

Responsibilities

Provide theory and practical Cosmetology instruction to students.
Teach evening classes at the DeKalb Campus and advise students.
Assist with textbook selection, curriculum updates and materials.
Report to the Division Chair of Industrial Technology and Professional Services.
