Actalent is seeking a Quality Assurance Inspector for cosmetics manufacturing and packaging. The role emphasizes hands-on floor inspections, verification of labels and lot numbers, and adherence to cosmetic GMP standards to ensure product integrity prior to release.

You will review batch records, support audits, and collaborate with Production and Warehouse to promptly resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement in the manufacturing process at the Chatsworth facility.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years of QA/QC or line inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in cosmetics or personal care manufacturing.
• Hands-on inspections on production and packaging lines.
• Familiarity with GMP documentation and batch records.
• Ability to perform line, component, and packaging inspections.
• Experience with AQL sampling and interpreting results.
• Proficiency in label verification, including lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Excellent collaboration with production and management teams.

Responsabilidades

• Perform routine line inspections during manufacturing and packaging operations.
• Verify labels, artwork, lot numbers, expiration dates and product coding.
• Conduct package integrity and appearance checks.
• Perform torque testing, weight checks, fill verification, and dimensional inspections as required.
• Conduct AQL inspections on finished goods and packaging components and document results.
• Verify line clearances before production start-up and changeovers.
• Review batch records and manufacturing documentation for accuracy and GMP compliance.
• Document and report quality issues and NCRs in a timely manner.
• Place materials on hold when quality concerns arise.
• Collaborate with Production, Warehouse and Management to resolve quality issues.
• Support GMP audits and continuous improvement with data and observations.
