Shiseido Americas is seeking a Production Manager to oversee the weekly production plan and ensure safety, quality, and productivity goals are met.

The role drives operational excellence through continuous improvement and Lean Six Sigma practices, developing a high-performing manufacturing team.

The position is based in New Jersey, collaborating across functions to uphold cGMP and OTC procedures while delivering reliable results.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in engineering.
• At least five years managing a GMP production environment.
• Experience in cosmetics or pharmaceutical industries.
• Ability to build high-performing teams and deliver results.
• Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Lean Six Sigma certification; Green Belt preferred.
• Ability to conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop direct reports through mentoring, feedback, and training.
• Support supervisors in daily departmental activities.
• Lead projects for continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity.
• Participate in weekly OEE meetings and lead OEE improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Quality to resolve finished goods nonconformances and identify corrective actions.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve RTFT.
