Job summary

L&R Distributors, Inc. is seeking a Field Merchandiser to stock, organize, and display products across assigned retail locations in Omaha, NE and Council Bluffs, IA. The role supports store resets and planograms, ensuring displays meet standards and timelines.

The position offers up to 11 hours weekly with potential transition to full-time after 60 days if 30+ hours are maintained, and includes mileage/toll reimbursements and benefits for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Previous merchandising or retail experience.
• Familiarity with resets and planograms.
• Retail sales and inventory knowledge is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use ladders when needed.
• Proficient with tablets and smartphones.

Responsibilities

• Place orders for required inventory using a tablet and scanner with Repsly.
• Service store routes according to the assigned call frequencies with the District Manager.
• Follow store visit processes, merchandising delivery from previous orders, and document tasks with photos.
• Accurately implement planograms and resets to cosmetic displays and fixtures.
• Ensure resets meet company standards and project timelines.
• Maintain communication with store staff and handle returns per guidelines.
• Conduct store surveys and audits as requested, including photographing departments.
