Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation is seeking a Lab Technician to support skin cleansing and hair care formulation work at our Ohio site. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to perform tests, maintain records, and ensure safe, compliant lab operations.

You will contribute to development of new formulations and testing methods, support inventory and SOP tasks, and communicate insights to project teams and leadership.

Qualifications

• H S or GED equivalent.
• Experience in formulation chemistry.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
• Strong organizational skills with multiple assignments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Commitment to safe laboratory practices and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams to introduce value-added solutions for skin cleansing and hair care.
• Perform laboratory tests and experiments and operate equipment with minimal supervision per protocols.
• Troubleshoot routine technical and equipment issues to ensure reliable lab operations.
• Generate, organize, and maintain detailed experimental records and reports.
• Ensure safe, well-maintained, and compliant lab operations in your area.
• Support development of new formulations, testing methodologies, and documentation for global launches.
• Participate in lab management tasks including inventory control and SOP management.
• Communicate results and recommendations to teams and leadership, driving continuous improvement.
