Job summary

Sun Chemical, a global leader headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey, seeks a Cosmetic Application Specialist to drive formulation development for our cosmetic pigments and products. You will collaborate with global technical service and support the Americas marketing and sales teams.

You will conduct day-to-day laboratory work, develop formulations for color cosmetics, document results, and provide technical support to customers, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field with cosmetic formulation experience.
• 5+ years in laboratory work focusing on color cosmetics.
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day laboratory activities related to color cosmetic pigments and applications.
• Assist development and claim substantiation of cosmetic pigment products.
• Formulate all types of cosmetic products with emphasis on color cosmetics; follow safety standards.
