Job summary

Sun Chemical, a leading producer of cosmetic pigments, seeks a Cosmetic Application Specialist to develop and improve cosmetic formulations and pigments. You will collaborate with global technical service and support the Americas marketing and sales teams, focusing on color cosmetics.

The role requires 5+ years in a cosmetics lab, a BS/BA in chemistry or cosmetic science, and strong documentation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of laboratory and cosmetic formulation experience.
• Fundamental understanding of cosmetic raw ingredients.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Good communication across global teams.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines with workflow software.

Responsibilities

• Assist development and claim substantiation of cosmetic pigment products.
• Formulate cosmetic products, especially color cosmetics, following safety standards.
• Provide technical support to customers.
• Document work in technical reports and communicate with cross-functional teams.
• Organize results into reports or slides for internal meetings.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and manage raw materials.
