Job summary

Swiss American CDMO in Carrollton, TX seeks a Senior Scientist in Color Cosmetics & Scale-Up to lead formulation development and commercialization of foundations, skin tints, BB/CC creams, and serums. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, engineering or related technical field.
• 10+ years of formulation experience in personal care/cosmetics.
• Proven color cosmetic commercialization experience.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations and cGMP practices.
• Strong collaboration across functions and customer-facing discussions.

Responsibilities

• Independently develop and optimize color cosmetic formulations (foundations, serums, moisturizers).
• Lead formulation strategies for target aesthetics, texture, shade accuracy, and stability.
• Oversee bench-top development, material evaluation and data-driven recommendations.
• Drive pilot plant trials and scale-up for commercialization, ensuring quality and cost targets.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, and Supply Chain.
