Job summary

ND Paper is seeking a Converting Superintendent in Langhorne, PA. This senior role owns safety, output, quality, downtime, cost, and people across all shifts, developing Supervisors and maintaining discipline and accountability.

The position necessitates strong leadership, a data-driven mindset, and a track record of improving converting operations. The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires coordinating with multiple shifts, ensuring safety training, and driving continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in corrugated or packaging manufacturing, with at least 2 years supervising converting operations.
• Ability to read production data and drive data-informed decisions.
• Clear, direct communicator across the organization.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus.
• Experience implementing operator-level PM programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment.
• Own converting department MSF output and makeready targets across all shifts.
• Review production reports and drive root-cause analysis.
• Coordinate with Scheduling on order mix, capacity constraints, and priority changes.
• Lead safety reviews, investigations, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
