Premier Packaging in Indianapolis is hiring for a full-time 3rd shift position in our manufacturing operation. You will assist in setting up corrugated machines, ensure tools and materials are available, and help load and unload materials on the production line.

Candidates must be at least 18, able to lift up to 25 lbs (50 lbs with help), read a tape measure, use a computer, and follow safety rules. You’ll join a team focused on quality, training, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Lift up to 25 lbs. alone and up to 50 lbs. assisted.
• Able to read a tape measure in standard measurements.
• Ability to perform basic math and use a computer.
• Ability to assist in the setup and operation of corrugated manufacturing machinery.
• Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines during machine operation.
• Effective communication skills to ensure smooth workflow.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup of corrugated manufacturing machines under the guidance of the machine operator.
• Ensure that materials and tools required for machine setup are readily available.
• Handle and transport corrugated materials within the production area.
• Support the loading and unloading of materials onto and from the production line.
• Follow instructions and perform tasks delegated by the machine operator.
• Assist in conducting quality checks on produced materials.
• Notify the machine operator of any defects or issues identified during the production process.
• Communicate clearly to ensure coordinated efforts in the production workflow.
• Be open to learning and gaining skills related to corrugated manufacturing processes.
