Corrosion Probe, Inc. is seeking a technical engineer or specialist to support inspection, assessment, and consulting for Water/Wastewater infrastructure in the Northeast. The role is based in Centerbrook, CT with regular fieldwork at client sites and desk-based reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, civil, environmental, or mechanical engineering or similar field.
• Strong attention to detail and effective communication.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.

Responsibilities

• Inspect structures and corrosion protection, including reinforced concrete, steel, and coatings.
• Perform field testing (training provided) such as drilling powder samples, core sampling, pH and UT tests.
• Conduct construction quality assurance inspections.
• Lead multiple, medium-sized projects while managing scheduling and client expectations.
• Take diligent field notes and record data and observations.
• Write technical reports and manage client communication.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
• Travel ~25% for non-local, short-term assignments; local site visits ~2 hours.
