Corrosion Probe, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer to support inspections, assessments, and repair design for fixed equipment and industrial infrastructure. The role covers pulp, paper, chemical, and water/wastewater facilities with on-site evaluations and formal reporting.

You will analyze corrosion and material-related failures, develop designs for steel/concrete systems, and manage small capital projects. Strong field capability and clear client communication are essential.

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in fixed equipment design, inspection, repairs, and failure modes.
• Ability to analyze condition data and make engineering recommendations.
• Ability to meet deadlines within budgeted hours.
• Field tasks in industrial environments with safety training and PPE provided.

Aufgaben

• Conduct structural surveys and evaluations for industrial buildings and infrastructure
• Assess condition of concrete, FRP, and steel tanks/vessels and chemical masonry construction
• Develop designs for structural steel, concrete, and brick/tile systems
• Investigate corrosion and material-related failures in metallic and non-metallic equipment
• Analyze equipment condition data and apply engineering codes and best practices
• Manage small capital projects for fixed equipment improvements
• Provide QA/QC for new and rehabilitation construction
• Prepare repair specifications and drawing packages
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, chemical, design, project management)
• Prepare technical reports and documentation
• Execute approximately 1,500 billable hours annually
• Work in field environments including confined spaces, ladders/scaffolding, elevated work areas (50'-125')
