Cogent Analytics is seeking an experienced Corrosion Manager to lead and expand our Corrosion/Cathodic Protection (CP) division, overseeing operations, technology, finance, and personnel across multiple states.

The role demands hands-on leadership, strategic vision, and the ability to balance field credibility with financial accountability to drive profitable growth and exceptional customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• AMPP/NACE CP certification (CP2 or higher) or STI equivalent
• 5+ years in cathodic protection compliance testing and corrosion services
• 3+ years in leadership or personnel management
• Strong knowledge of UST systems and multi-state regulatory environments
• Budgeting, labor utilization, and divisional financial performance experience
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Corrosion Manager to lead and expand our Corrosion/Cathodic Protection (CP) division. This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing all operational, technical, financial, and personnel functions associated with corrosion compliance services across multiple states.

The Corrosion Manager will provide strategic leadership while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitable division growth. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in cathodic protection systems along with proven experience managing field operations, teams, and service-based business performance.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively balance field credibility, operational discipline, financial accountability, and customer relationship management to build and maintain a high-performing regional corrosion services division.

Qualifications

• Experience in corrosion control, cathodic protection, or related industries
• Leadership experience managing field operations and personnel
• Strong knowledge of corrosion testing and CP systems
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Required

• AMPP/NACE Cathodic Protection certification (CP2 or higher preferred) OR equivalent advanced STI certification
  5+ years of experience in cathodic protection compliance testing and corrosion services
• 3+ years of leadership or personnel management experience
  Strong working knowledge of UST systems, corrosion compliance, and multi-state regulatory environments
  Experience managing operational budgets, labor utilization, or division-level financial performance
  Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  Ability to pass background checks and drug screening requirements
