Job summary

Cogent Talent Solutions' client is seeking an experienced Corrosion Manager to lead and grow the Corrosion/Cathodic Protection division. This senior leadership role oversees operational, technical, financial, and personnel functions across multiple states, ensuring safety, compliance, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• AMPP/NACE CP certification or STI equivalent.
• 5+ years in cathodic protection compliance testing and corrosion services.
• 3+ years of leadership or personnel management experience.
• Strong working knowledge of CP systems and corrosion testing.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Corrosion/CP division across multiple states.
• Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, field execution, and efficiency.
• Develop and implement SOPs and best practices.
• Ensure projects and inspections are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
• Monitor field productivity, quality control, and service performance metrics.
• Maintain and oversee company-issued equipment, tools, and service vehicles.

Our client is looking for an experienced and drivenCorrosion Manager to lead and expand our Corrosion/Cathodic Protection (CP) division. This senior leadership position is responsible for overseeing all operational, technical, financial, and personnel functions associated with corrosion compliance services across multiple states.

The Corrosion Manager will provide strategic leadership while ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and profitable division growth. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise in cathodic protection systems along with proven experience managing field operations, teams, and service-based business performance.

This role requires a hands‑on leader who can effectively balance field credibility, operational discipline, financial accountability, and customer relationship management to build and maintain a high‑performing regional corrosion services division.

$100,000 - $120,000 a year

Operational Leadership

• Lead daily operations of the Corrosion/CP division across multiple states and service territories
• Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, field execution, and operational efficiency
• Develop and implement standardized operating procedures and best practices
• Ensure all projects and inspections are completed safely, accurately, and on schedule
• Monitor field productivity, quality control, and service performance metrics
• Maintain and oversee company‑issued equipment, tools, and service vehicles

Qualifications

• Experience in corrosion control, cathodic protection, or related industries
• Leadership experience managing field operations and personnel
• Strong knowledge of corrosion testing and CP systems
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Required:

• AMPP/NACE Cathodic Protection certification (CP2 or higher preferred) OR equivalent advanced STI certification
  5+ years of experience in cathodic protection compliance testing and corrosion services
• 3+ years of leadership or personnel management experience
  Strong working knowledge of UST systems, corrosion compliance, and multi-state regulatory environments
  Experience managing operational budgets, labor utilization, or division‑level financial performance
  Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  Ability to pass background checks and drug screening requirements
