NorthWestern Energy in Montana is seeking a Corrosion Technician to perform corrosion control tasks on the gas transmission and storage system. Primary work locations include Butte, Bozeman, or Billings, MT, with travel up to 50% per year.

The role requires knowledge of corrosion fundamentals, ability to inspect and remediate corrosion, and familiarity with cathodic surveys, allowing maintenance of bonds and protective systems. This is a regular full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of corrosion fundamentals.
• Ability to inspect, monitor and remediate atmospheric, external, and internal corrosion on pipelines.
• Familiar with cathodic surveys and protection methods.
• Willingness to obtain AMPP/NACE certifications.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, monitor and remediate corrosion on gas transmission systems.
