Job summary

V2X, Inc. is seeking an experienced aircraft painter specializing in corrosion control and surface preparation. The role covers inspective work, paint removal, surface prep, and finishing of aircraft components in a DoD-focused environment.

You will coordinate with Quality Control, document activities in NALCOMIS/MAFs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while maintaining high ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Three years of corrosion-related experience on aircraft/components within the last six years.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 40-hour corrosion removal/training course completed (resident).
• Aircraft painter training: 80-hour Naval paint course (or equivalent).
• Formal/specialized training or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Inspect surfaces and assess integrity for corrosion or paint suitability.
• Remove paint and corrosion products with approved tools and techniques.
• Prepare surfaces for painting and protect non-painted areas.
• Coat aircraft components with approved materials and apply insignia as required.
• Coordinate with supervision and QA to resolve procedures; document work in MAFs/NALCOMIS.
