Responsibilities
  • Meet or Exceed monthly and annual sales goals
  • Cultivate new customers and work existing dormant or inactive accounts.
  • Develop pipeline of new loan submissions.
  • Master portal and systems, submission process, and requirements, to ensure smooth customer service.
  • Pipeline management to ensure loan pull through.
  • Work with internal partners to learn process, procedure, and guidelines.
  • Must be able to maintain $2,000,000.00 in month production
  • Confident personality with strong communication skills
  • Must be able to structure loans with broker partners
  • Must have a current active book of Non-QM business
  • Develop detailed strategic sales plans to demonstrate how to grow business within assigned accounts or territory
  • Identify and qualify opportunities, develop a pipeline of viable opportunities, and effectively manage the pipeline with the account management team, including timely follow-up of all leads and advancing leads through the selling process to close
  • Provide accurate forecasts, customer, competitive and market intelligence to management and business leadership and to the account team
Qualifications
  • Current Wholesale AE experience with book of business, developing, supporting, and maintaining Mortgage Brokers.
  • Thorough knowledge of Non-QM
  • Relationship building internally and externally, to learn process and procedure policies, with the ability to teach and educate these practices to customers.
  • Understanding of current industry compliance policies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Self-driven, motivated, and results-oriented with new business sales (or hunter) mentality
  • Strong new business prospecting, selling, negotiating, and closing skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to present to an executive-level audience
  • Ability to effectively partner and collaborate across teams
