Job summary

The Missouri Department of Corrections is hiring to lead correctional case management units and oversee a multidisciplinary team. The role focuses on supervising staff, reviewing offender assessments, and ensuring accurate records and plans are in place to support rehabilitation and safety.

Ideal candidates will have extensive corrections experience, a strong supervisory background, and the ability to manage budgets and coordinate with other departments within a state facility.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience as a Corrections Case Manager III or Correctional Lieutenant.
• Two or more years in corrections case management or probation/parole.
• Six+ years in corrections case management or adult probation/parole.
• Experience within an adult correctional facility required.
• Education credits may substitute for up to four years of the listed experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more functional unit with multi-disciplinary staff and supervise rehabilitation programs.
• Train and evaluate lower-level case management staff; supervise custody staff as needed.
• Review offender assessments and maintain records and plans (TAPS, Case Management).
• Prepare unit budget, requisition supplies, and liaise with staff on offender matters.
• Act as duty officer when warden is absent and ensure unit cleanliness and safety.
