The State of Nebraska is hiring a Unit Case Manager for the Reception and Treatment Center in Lincoln. The Case Manager will provide guidance to Unit Caseworkers and work directly with the incarcerated population.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice or a related field, or equivalent corrections experience. Strong interpersonal skills and supervisory experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, behavioral sciences, or related field required.
• Must be at least 18 years old with no felony convictions.
• Experience in correctional setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide Unit Caseworkers.
• Monitor inmate behavior and maintain order.
• Counsel inmates on rules and treatment plans.
• Coordinate medical and educational services.
• Facilitate non-clinical programming.
