Job summary

Qualifications

• Manages functional units with multi-disciplinary staff and implements group treatment programs for offenders.
• Supervises, trains, and evaluates lower-level case management staff; supports custody staff and rehab services.
• Reviews offender assessments, classifications, and offender records; develops action plans and coordinates unit activities.
• Conducts investigations, prepares the unit budget, and maintains inventory; liaises between offenders and institutional staff.
• Serves as warden's designee during absences; ensures unit cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more units with multi-disciplinary staff and oversee treatment programs for offenders.
• Supervise, train, and evaluate case management staff; provide supervision to custody staff and rehabilitation services.
• Review offender assessments and classifications; oversee records and planning documents; coordinate unit activities.
• Perform special investigations/research; manage budget and inventory; liaison between offenders and staff.
• Act as duty officer and warden's designee during nights/weekends; ensure safety and cleanliness of units.
