Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and DCJS Certification.
• Significant corrections or law enforcement experience with staff supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication; ability to read policies and prepare lesson plans.
• Knowledge of institutional security operations and training techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assess, develop, deliver, evaluate training for all staff at the facility and track participation.
• Supervise assigned training staff and contribute to performance management administration.
• Conduct ongoing inspections to maintain security, sanitation and order of the institution and interact with management, staff, visitors, inmates, and the public.
