Qualifications

• Must hold LIAC or LPC licensure in the state where work is performed.
• Two (2) years of experience as a LIAC or as a LPC.
• Capability of providing at least 15 hours of demonstrated clinical supervision experience.
• Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide substance abuse counseling to inmates, individually or in groups.
• Train, supervise, schedule, and conduct performance reviews for staff.
• Develop client treatment plans based on clinical experience and histories.
• Conduct program orientation sessions and participate in case conferences or staff meetings.
• Coordinate counseling with mental health professionals or other health professionals.
