Washington State Department of Corrections is seeking a Corrections Specialist 3 GRE in Tacoma to monitor and support incarcerated individuals transferred to Extraordinary Medical Placement under GRE. This role involves case management, collaboration with families, providers, and employers, and enforcing conditions under GRE/EMP/DUI-DOSA.

Shift is Mon-Fri 0800-1700 with opportunities for advancement and leadership within the GRE program.

Competenze

• Must have ability to carry and properly utilize a department-issued firearm.
• Must possess and maintain a vehicles operator’s license valid in the state of Washington.
• Four years' experience as a Community Corrections Officer with the Washington State Department of Corrections.
• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of professional case management in corrections or related field with specific criteria.

Mansioni

• Conduct investigations and searches.
• Manage a specialized caseload of individuals that may or may not release to community supervision.
• Monitor compliance with electronic home monitoring systems (EHM) for incarcerated individuals.
• Complete and manage a variety of plans and reports.
• Complete intake and administer a variety of assessments.
• Engage with incarcerated individuals to encourage positive change.
• Enforce GRE/EMP/DUI DOSA conditions and the law.
• Lead other Corrections Specialists.

Bachelor's degree (CHEA or US DoE recognized)
