Responsibilities

• Supervises and assigns correctional sergeants and officers in daily duties.
• Plans shift coverage for facility operation.
• Investigates all reported occurrences and submits written reports.
• Serves as shift supervisor in absence of the Correctional Captain.
• Monitors expenditures for staff compensation, overtime, and maintenance.
• Responds to emergencies.
• Completes investigations including disciplinary reports, grievances, theft reports, or other assignments.
• Ensures reports are completed timely.
• Completes evaluations on employees.
