Qualifications

• EDUCATION: High school graduate.
• EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: One year of experience in corrections, law enforcement, criminal justice, or related field.
• Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: Two options allow substituting education for experience (Associate's or Bachelor's degrees).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a unit or program promoting teamwork and a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Schedule daily activities, set goals, and assess effectiveness.
• Provide training and information for patient records and supervisors.
• Monitor security functions and daily living of patients; oversee staff on unit.
