Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise subordinate security assigned to housing units and custody of inmates.
• Perform routine inspections of living areas for security, safety, and sanitation.
• Conduct investigations of misconduct by inmates and security personnel.
• Assist in counts and supervise job performance and conduct of staff.
• Counsel, discipline, train, and evaluate subordinate staff to required standards.
• Prepare reports as needed and assume shift lieutenant duties when required.
