• Conduct unit briefings and routine inspections to ensure safety and security standards.
• Investigate misconduct by inmates and employees in the unit.
• Prepare and review reports; inform housing lieutenant of incidents.
• Perform duties of housing lieutenant in their absence and oversee the unit during shifts.
