GEO Corrections & Detentions is seeking a full-time role responsible for supervising detainees in living, recreation, dining, and visitation areas. You will coordinate counts, monitor movements, and conduct safety checks to ensure a secure environment.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred college coursework in behavioral sciences or correctional services. Overtime may be required; candidates should be able to meet physical and mental demands.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor detainees in living, recreation, dining, and visitation areas.
• Coordinate movement (counts) and provide emergency response as needed.
• Ensure safety of program activities and supervise labor crews.
• Conduct shakedowns for contraband and confiscate prohibited items as per policies.
• Keep daily logs including disciplinary reports.
• Provide prompt assistance to those injured or ill.
• Report maintenance or repair needs to keep the facility clean.
