Qualifications

• Knowledge of English usage and basic math.
• Reporting-writing skills and firearms handling.
• Understanding restraint methods and self-defence techniques.
• Ability to evaluate situations and act quickly in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provides security and supervision to inmates in a variety of situations and activities.
• Maintains security of an assigned area or post and responds to emergencies.
• Escorts inmates to work sites.
• Inspects living areas for contraband and reports incidents.
• Operates security equipment and conducts inmate counts.
• Prepares written documentation and reports on inmate behavior and movement.
