Job summary

The State of Washington's Monroe Correctional Complex in Monroe, WA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time permanent evening/weekend shifts. The role includes direct patient care, care planning, and clinical coordination for a population with dialysis needs and complex health conditions.

Qualifications

• Active Washington RN license (unencumbered).
• American Heart Association CPR certification.
• Ability to work independently and with supervision as needed.

Responsibilities

• Access, monitor, and interpret data to plan care.
• Develop nursing diagnoses and expected outcomes.
• Plan and implement timely, site-appropriate health care.
• Provide direct patient care and coordinate with staff and providers.
• Delegate tasks, supervise staff, and ensure patient safety.
• Maintain medical records and document care plans clearly.
• Respond to emergencies with appropriate CPR and triage.
• Participate in correctional health care team activities.
