Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Corrections Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Swan Quarter, NC. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to incarcerated patients in a correctional facility, collaborating with medical and security staff to ensure safety and quality care.

The position offers a weekly pay rate of $2,146 with standard shifts and 36 hours per week, plus a benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with otherhealthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population.The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population. This careincludes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting.
