Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Corrections Registered Nurse (RN) for an on-site travel assignment in Lumberton, NC. The RN will work in a correctional setting, delivering routine and emergency care while coordinating with healthcare teams and correctional staff.

The ideal candidate will hold an active RN license in NC, have correctional health care experience preferred, and possess CPR certification. Flexible benefits and compliance with all regulations are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred.
• CPR certification is required if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with otherhealthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population.The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population. This careincludes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting.
