Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Corrections Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments in Halifax, NC. The RN collaborates with healthcare professionals, correctional officers and administrators to ensure incarcerated patients receive timely care, including routine and emergency services.

The role requires an active RN license, 1 year correctional experience preferred, and CPR where applicable. TB screening and compliance with all regulations are mandatory.

Qualifications

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with otherhealthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population.The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population. This careincludes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting.
