Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Corrections Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments in Hampton, GA. The RN will collaborate with healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to deliver routine and emergency care to incarcerated individuals in a correctional facility setting.

Requirements include GA RN license, minimum 1 year correctional health experience preferred, current CPR, health certificate, and ability to meet all regulatory standards.

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with otherhealthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population.The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population. This careincludes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices




• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experiencepreferred




• CCHP-RN Certification preferred




• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)




• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice




• Current CPR if applicable




• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable




• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements




• Must be at least 18 years of age
