Job summary

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Corrections seeks a Licensed Psychologist Manager, Corrections at SCI Mahanoy to lead mental health services within a secure facility. You will supervise clinical staff, conduct evaluations, develop programs for inmate adjustment, chair committees, and implement ACA-aligned policies to ensure quality care.

Qualifications

• Must hold or obtain a PA psychology license within one year.
• Minimum one year as licensed psychologist or equivalent in inmate treatment.
• Experience supervising clinical staff and programs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee psychological services at SCI Mahanoy and lead clinical and administrative operations.
• Direct staff supervision and development of mental health programs for inmates.
• Conduct evaluations and guide diagnostic/treatment planning.
• Chair Initial Reception, Suicide Clinical Review, Psychiatric Review, Mental Health Services Review, and CSTM Committees.
• Develop and integrate mental health policies aligned with ACA standards.
