Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures; ability to write routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmates and maintain security of the jail.
• Book, fingerprint, photograph, search, and inventory inmate belongings.
• Escort inmates, issue supplies, and manage inmate movements within the facility.
• Respond to emergencies and enforce jail rules and safety procedures.
• Monitor and operate security equipment and conduct rounds for contraband.
• Transport prisoners to courts and facilities as required.
