Job summary

The State of Wisconsin’s Department of Corrections seeks a Correctional Management Services Director to lead administration, planning, and supervision of all management services for WCCS, a multi-site facility. This role is based at the Central Office in Madison, with on-site responsibilities and travel as needed.

Salary ranges start at $49.00–$50.00 per hour, plus a solid benefits package. Exempt status, on-call duties, and potential probationary periods apply.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff and directing work in a formal environment.
• Experience ensuring compliance with State and Federal regulations.
• Experience with administration of a budget.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration, planning, development, management, and supervision of all management services for WCCS.
• Manage fiscal operations, policy development, budget development and budget control.
• Oversee purchasing, resident accounts, food service, canteen, inventory, buildings/grounds, risk and fleet management.
• Provide direct supervision of staff and stand in for Warden/Deputy Warden/Security Director when assigned.
