Job summary

Wisconsin Department of Corrections is seeking a Correctional Management Services Director to oversee administration, planning and supervision of management services for WCCS, a multi-site facility network. The role covers fiscal management, policy development, purchasing, and operations including food service, inventory and facilities maintenance.

The CMSD will act as a senior leader in the absence of executive staff and may travel to different DOC worksites.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising staff and directing work assignments.
• Experience ensuring functions comply with policies and regulations.
• Experience administering budgets and purchasing goods/services.
• Experience managing capital assets and purchasing processes.
• Experience overseeing operations of a residential facility or similar setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, administer and supervise management services across WCCS facilities.
• Oversee fiscal management, budget development and control.
• Direct purchasing, inventory, and asset management.
• Ensure compliance with state statutes and regulations.
• Coordinate food service, canteen, and resident accounts as applicable.
• Provide on-call coverage and travel between sites as needed.
