Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Corrections Oversight Worker to supervise inmates in meal preparation, ensure sanitation, and training on cooking procedures. The role focuses on efficient meal service, adherence to safety standards, and coordinating daily operations within a correctional food service environment.

Responsible for enforcing Aramark guidelines, maintaining logs, and ensuring security compliance while training staff to meet production plans and dietary requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous experience interacting with inmates is a plus.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Adhere to production guidelines and HACCP procedures.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Train inmates and staff on cooking procedures and portion control.
• Maintain sanitation and safety; manage inventories and supplies.
• Direct workflow, schedules, and adherence to security policies.
