Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor in Eau Claire, WI to oversee a correctional facility kitchen team. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient, high-quality meal service in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires strong culinary background, leadership, and a focus on portion control, sanitation, and customer service. This onsite position offers full-time hours with a $18.00/hour wage and a $500 sign-on bonus after training completion.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a quality, high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience supervising a team and providing guidance to staff.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meals begin on time and portions/temperatures meet quality standards.
