Summit, part of Elior North America, is hiring an experienced cook for our correctional facility kitchen in Miami, FL. You will work with a motivated kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment to prepare high-quality meals for inmates, emphasizing accuracy, safety, and presentation.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of scratch cooking experience, strong culinary skills, and a customer-focused attitude. This is a full-time, onsite role with a comprehensive benefits package and growth potential

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume, scratch-cook environment.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to use kitchen equipment and differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience required.
• Nice-to-have: Food handlers certification.
